New Beginning Collection - Sold Out
Each piece in the Nomamare Spring–Summer 2026 collection, titled New Beginning, is handcrafted from a mother board - a carefully composed fusion of olive wood, carob wood, ancient bog wood, pine cones, and occasional accents of walnut.
These natural materials are combined with high-quality, food-grade epoxy resin and custom-blended pigments, creating unique visual landscapes within every piece. For this collection, we have also infused the mother board with 24-karat gold leaf. It appears only in select pieces, subtly emerging through the surface.
From Feeling to Creation
NOMAMARE art objects are inspired by the creativity of Alma Selimović, a multiple award-winning artist with international recognition.
Alma received her BFA degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, BiH, and received her MFA degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, PA, USA.
Her work was featured in more than 30 exhibits across different museums, galleries and other artistic spaces throughout the United States and Europe. Today, she calls the island of Brač her home and subtly translates the feelings of summer, the sea and the Adriatic landscape into unique shapes and art objects.

NOMAMARE was created after a decade of creating art and researching and experimenting with metal, wood and epoxy resin. Since we do not use molds or participate in mass production, each piece is authentic and unique. For a wood base, we use olive, carob, almond, walnut and ancient bog-wood in combination with food-grade epoxy resin. Special editions often feature metal elements inspired by nature - flowers, leaves, insects or birds.
NO MOLD
Hand casting, sawing and carving create unique sculptural shapes.
SUSTAINABLE FASHION
Elements from past collections are recycled and reinterpreted in special editions.
MINIMUM WASTE
In the production process, we aim to use almost all materials, thus not creating unnecessary waste.
